Getting Ready to Reopen – Almost There!

Getting Ready to Reopen – Almost There!

Earlier today, we were contacted by WKBW Buffalo to discuss our plans for reopening. We invited Eileen Buckley to come by and talk with Mary Ann about what we’ve been doing to get ready. The story appeared on the 5 and 6 pm news broadcasts. Check it out!

Operations during COVID-2019 – Updated 6/2

Operations during COVID-2019 – Updated 6/2

To Our Valued Guests, Friends, and Family:

Gigi’s Cucina Povera is now open for TAKEOUT ONLY from 4 to 8 pm 7:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday. We will close at 7:30 pm nightly through June 6 in order to comply with the countywide curfew. (Yes, we’re essential and exempt but we’re helping you to comply, also!) We’ve converted our fine dining menu to a takeout menu with many of your favorites. We expect the menu to change frequently depending on the availability of product and as we learn which dishes travel best. We will continue to revise our operations according to state and local mandates and will provide regular updates here and on the Gigi’s Facebook page. We can’t express enough gratitude for your continued support. THANK YOU! Please stay safe. ~Mary Ann Giordano & Gigi’s Staff~

The kitchen command center is ready for your order!

Command center is up and ready! We will be open from 4 – 8 pm and are ready to take your order.

Pre-ordering is a great help. The takeout menu will be posted on Facebook and Grubhub for delivery. If you are picking up, our door will be locked so we will bring your order to your car.

Yes! We have Gigi’s signature fish fry this evening.

We’re really in the dark…

The Governor has decided to close dining rooms for the good of public health so we’re scrambling to figure out if we can convert to a take-out model for the near term and keep as many folks working as we can. In the meantime, have a look at the Buffalo News article linked below – Gigi’s is mentioned!

Thanks so much for your support and patience as we figure it out. We’ll update here and on Facebook again soon.
